Athena Maria is a singer-songwriter and creative entrepreneur from Miami, Florida. Her music is a unique fusion of indie and pop, drawing inspiration from artists like Harry Styles, Remi Wolf, and Gracie Abrams.
As founder of her own independent label, Lovergirl Music Group, Athena Maria has embraced both the creative and entrepreneurial aspects of her music career, giving herself the freedom to maintain artistic control while developing her vision from the ground up.
Her live performances are known for their high energy and audience engagement. Together with her band comprised of other talented, local young musicians, she performs entertaining set lists ranging from well-known oldies and pop favorites to original compositions. Recent appearances include Savage Labs, Patio Jams at the University of Miami, and the popular Social Fridays event with Mind Body Social.
Beyond her own artistry, Athena is passionate about nurturing other talents as a songwriting instructor. She believes strongly in the power of collaboration, viewing it as a means to build connections, improve skills, and find inspiration.
